Cobbro was formed in early 2005 and has produced three original albums: 'Songs of Life' in 2006 and the critically acclaimed 'Free' in 2011. In 2013, the band released their most accomplished album to date, 'Alright Now'.
All the albums were written, arranged and performed by Joe and Pete Cobb.
Joe Cobb - Lead/ backing vocals, fretless and fretted bass guitars, drums and percussion
Pete Cobb - Lead/ backing vocals, electric/ acoustic guitars, keyboards
The brothers were supported across the three albums by a number of talented musicians, including:
Andy Boland - Lead Guitar
Rick Curran - Violins
Sara Humber - Flute and Saxophone
Paul Knowles - Saxophones
Margaret Laura Gallagher - Backing Vocals
Hannah Cobb - Backing Vocals
John Hickey Backing Vocals
Joey Cobb - Bodhran
The albums were produced and engineered by John Hickey at Bioluminescence Studios.
The band regularly perform live in a range of venues across Preston, Leyland, Chorley, Longton and Penwortham.
